Throw on some Jack Johnson or Michael Franti, or something orchestral. Blast it as loud as you can in the general direction of his house. Do so for ten or fifteen minutes, then shut it off. Repeat every time he starts trying to rap. He should take the hint.

Try having your roommate decide that. I had to listen to it all morning (until 6 in the morning). My roommate also filmed music videos, and would edit them all day...the same song over and over. You got off easy.
