Today, my new guy friend told me that he is madly in love with me. When I suggested "let's give it some time and see what happens", he called me immature and blocked me on every form of social media I have. FML

He's so busy throwing a tantrum that he didn't notice you never actually rejected him. Or else he must have zero patience if he can't take an extra week to see if some romantic chemistry developes. Either way, I'm thinking you dodged a bullet there. He sounds like the kind of dumbass who posts endlessly about "the friend zone" when in reality it's his own little fits and piss-poor attitude that are keeping him single.
