Today, my dad sat me down and angrily accused me of doing drugs, all because he's noticed I've recently become a lot more energetic and emotional than usual. The truth is, I'd been smoking weed daily for 3 years and just decided to never smoke it again 2 weeks ago. FML

THC, which is in weed, is a drug because it changes the original workings of your body. it's the same as alcohol, cigarettes, and any sort of pill. just because it comes from a plant doesn't make it different. vodka comes from potatoes, cigarettes come from tobacco plants, wine from grapes. plenty of pills can have plant extracts as well.

So you didn't understand that marijuana is a relaxant and doesn't function as a stimulant? Good thing this conversation occurred after you quit using, as he would've harsher your mellow back then. With your newfound energy you can just laugh it off and go onto the next activity
