Today, my boyfriend, who hasn't shaved in a month, went to go shave. I was pretty excited since his beard was starting to make my face itch whenever we kissed. When he came out of the bathroom he had a handlebar mustache. FML

Today, my boyfriend was shaving his beard in the bathroom when I left. An hour later, I found him exasperated after having shaved half his body. I had to help him shave every nook and cranny left because he said he was in too deep and couldn't turn back. Yes, his bumhole too. FML

Today, I was getting ready to meet my boyfriend. We haven't seen each other in a month so I decided to shave my body hair, even though I have really sensitive skin and usually end up getting rashes after a few days. His flight got cancelled and he won't be back for another two days. FML

Today, while talking to my boyfriend, I noticed he looked uncomfortable. When I asked what was wrong, he asked when the last time I shaved was. I answered, "I shaved my legs this morning." He shook his head and said, "No, I meant your face." FML

Today, I opened some small cute birthday gifts at my boyfriend's house. As we left to go out, he slipped me a Tiffany box and said he wanted me to open it in private. Flushed and excited, I open it to find a ziploc filled with hair. It was his mustache I had been begging him to shave for months. FML

Today, I finally told my boyfriend I have a medical condition that makes me grow an unusual amount of hair on my face, so I shave every day. He said he was leaving me because he refuses to be with a "bearded lady". FML

I'd be pissed if my husband shaved his beard off. We have an agreement... he keeps his beard, I continue to shave my pits and legs. If he were to shave, he knows I would stop shaving until he grew his beard back out. What do you have against men who look like men?

Not everyone finds facial hair sexy. Also, she said that it itches. I have the same issue with my boyfriend, when he doesn't shave for a while it tickles and itches when we kiss and is really annoying. OP, just talk to him!

I agree with OP...it's not about the looks. I like the way my boyfriend looks with a beard. Unfortunately, his beard likes to scratch my face up. The first time we made out, my chin was so red and peel-y the next day that people at school thought I was *sunburned.* Not a pleasant experience.
