I will never understand people who blame the victims of sexual harassment, assault, or battery. It's like saying that a murder victim is responsible for their murder. I don't want to understand their twisted world view, either. If you haven't already, please consider accessing a sexual crime crisis center for support. What happened to you definitely wasn't your fault, and thus your (now ex-)boyfriend is completely in the wrong. Even if you don't want to use those resources, please find someone to talk to that understands what sexual assault is and the trauma it causes.

He is a complete and ignorant asshole who doesn't understand what you went through. I really hope he realizes what an asshole he is in the future. You deserve a GIANT apology from him.
