That's one way to fire someone without dealing with the initial reaction... Get them to take your messages when you already know one of those messages will be from the replacement. xD Sorry to hear about your job though, srsly.

I had a similar experience to this. Found an ad for my nannying position... on the website that my employer had used to find ME in the first place. My resignation email began with a screen dump of the ad.

That's pretty awful. What a pathetic way to let someone know that they're being replaced. Your boss should have at least had the guts to sit you down BEFORE allowing you to find out that way.
