Little did I know, his entire family was at his house and at the computer because he, "wanted to show them what a great girlfriend I am." FML

You're a great girlfriend for doing that. I'm sure he would have really appreciated it. Sorry it didn't go as planned. Don't let this incident stop you from doing things like that in the future.
