Today, is the blizzard. I have to go into work, my boss threatened to fire me if I didn't show up. I sent him a picture of the snow completely covering my car. He said I moved the snow there and could move it back. FML

Today, it was snowing really badly, so my boss said that everyone who drove to work could leave. But because I got the bus in, she said that I should stay and do a full day. By the time she eventually decided it was bad enough for me to leave, the buses were cancelled. FML

Today, I shoveled snow at work. I had to because my co-workers refused to "get sick." I told my co-workers if anyone needs me, just tell them I'm shoveling snow. Our boss asked for me and they said that I left without punching. This also happened when I went out to water the flowers in the summer. FML

Today, as I was driving to work in the aftermath of a terrible blizzard that came through my area last night, a lady slid through an intersection and hit my car, totaling it. I called my boss and told her what happened, only to have her tell me that we were closed due bad roads. No one told me. FML

Today, after getting up at 6 a.m., fighting with the dogs to wipe their paws off from the snow, and having to wait for a moving truck to move so I could get to work by 8, I got a call from my boss saying we were closed due to weather. It was 8:15. I was already there. FML

Today, I found out that my coworker shared a laugh with the boss about setting the office desk on fire (which he actually did), while ten minutes later I was threatened with being fired because I made paper snowflakes and hung a few of them next to the computer. FML

Idk if you are aware but if your state declares a state of emergency he/she cannot fire you for not showing up for work. Look it up to verify your state work laws during state emergencies. Good luck op.

Your boss is just in a rotten mood because your coworker dropped the ball on a lie. This is why each house should come with a built in Batcave. So your car can stay out of the weather, and be easier to get in and out of, and it's less likely to be stolen when it's in the Batcave.

I've driven after 2' of snow fell. There were cars stuck in the middle of the road but it was accually possible. Also it looks very different when you move snow as when it falls naturally somewhere

I live in Maine as well. yes, we are used to driving in the snow, but yesterday was still bad enough where No one should have been out. LePage declared a state of emergency. most businesses were going to close down anyway. I saw one car that was completely buried except for the windshield wipers that were left sticking up. your boss is an inconsiderate ass. it sucks you had to deal with that and I hope you stayed safe.
