Today, I worked up the courage to give a guy my number. I wrote it down on a piece of paper, tore it in half and gave it to him. Later, I noticed I'd given him the wrong, blank half. FML

Clever move! Now that you handed him a blank paper, he'll know you don't want him to call on the phone, but instead you want him to hunt you down physically. That often works, but it didn't for me and that girl from the Census.

First of all, I'm not a suck-up. Perdix' comments are always extremely sarcastic, and for the most part I find them hilarious. However, I've noticed a lot of newcomers lately. Perhaps they simply aren't used to his humor?

If you're too shy to give a guy your number, how are you going to become brave enough to actually speak to him if he were to call you? Next time, if you give a guy your number, wait around a few minutes to see his reaction to your note and hopefully he'll respond to your invitation right then and there. That's how many guys I know do it. (:
