Today, I woke up, ate breakfast, and left my dorm room, only to see about half a dozen people and my roommate shuffling around in the hall. Their zombie outfits and limping were so realistic that I freaked out and ran back inside, screaming. They think it was the greatest prank ever. FML

Today, before I went to bed, I watched a terrifying movie with zombies. I woke up with a headache, a bloody nose, and my mom standing over me frantically asking me what was wrong. Apparently I had been "fighting the zombies off" in my sleep and had been punching myself in the face. FML

Today, I locked myself out of my dorm room. I walked across campus, shoe-less and in nothing but my bathrobe, to find someone who could let me back in. Turns out I hadn't even shut the door properly and so it never actually locked. I can still hear the guy laughing at me. FML

Today, I fell asleep in a lecture. I laughed at something amusing in Dreamworld, but the laugh came out as a prolonged creepy groan in Lectureworld. I woke up to see everyone within a 5 meter radius staring at me. FML

Today, I stayed after hours studying in the medical library. I was the only one left, and as I was leaving through the glass doors, I saw a person's reflection behind me. I screamed, jumped, fell into the doors, smashing my head. I'd actually seen the reflection of a medical demonstration dummy. FML

With all the technology and diseases and messed up things out in the world, who's to say it can't happen? It only takes one super smart mastermind who works in that particular field to make something incurable with the right mix or something and shit could go down right away. #36 I did think of the walking dead but it was too late I already posted it and didn't edit in time. I think world war z was really meant to show how fast chaos would happen if something like zombies did occur and how unprepared most people are, even for the basics, not so much the superhuman zombies themselves. Most people don't think to prepare for things they don't believe could happen.

@47, I seriously think that zombies are a possibility. Strains, infections, viruses, you name it. Reanimation is real. Maybe not the whole "brrraaaaaiiiinnnssss" deal, but it certainly is a viable possibility.
