Today, I went to the movies with the girl I liked. She kept on eating my popcorn so I whispered in her ear "Pretty soon your going to have to repay me with kisses." Then she looked at me and walked out the theatre. She came back with a bucket of popcorn and said "Here, you're repaid." FML

That's a very creepy thing to say, even if you're joking. You come off as this kind of awkwardly-desperate-creepy combo. The only way this wouldn't be a completely unacceptable thing to say is if you were in fact talking about the Kiss candies in an ironic manner, and that she understood this...like if it was an inside joke.

not only did i laugh so hard at this chain that had to run to the broom closet sized bathroom to prevent wetting myself, thus fling the cat off my lap into a house plant and tripping on the laptop cord in the process, but i actually decided i would take a stand on the subject as well... the line was pathetic and you should spend quality time in front of a mirror to better kno the face of a future rapist

How about, next time, you buy the girl popcorn JUST because you like her, not because you're expecting something in return (or at least PRETEND that's why you got her the popcorn). Girls tend to like that more than 'I took you to a movie and got you a snack, now you have to make out with me to repay me.'
