Today, I went out to eat to celebrate getting over the stomach flu. I hadn't eaten solid food in over a week, so I was really excited and ordered my favorite dish. It gave me food poisoning. FML

seems like something that would happen to me. I've found glass in my food twice at really expensive restaurants and metal once. the worst was finding a live maggot in a candy bar I'd already eaten half of

I found a caterpillar in my apple along with a moth in my Chinese food and a roach in my soup. looks like me and you have bad luck

true but then with our luck a spider would fall down from the ceiling onto the plate. as much as I love spiders I don't think they would be tasty to eat.

YDI for celebrating getting over a stomach flu by going out to eat. If you haven't eaten any real food in a whole week why in the world would the first thing you hit your stomach with be restaurant food?! Are you stupid? The risk of getting undercooked food, because you don't see it prepared yourself, would be too much when your stomach is that delicate. Plus everything in restaurants is highly fatty with butter or oil and full of salt. Why would you think that is the first thing your stomach could handle? In its delicate condition you could easily get 'food poisoning' from food that under normal digestive circumstances your body would break down and digest just fine. YDI for being too dumb to know that was a bad idea.
