Today, I went on a 9-day vacation to see my husband for a late Valentine's day celebration. My mom agreed to care for my large number of very expensive fish. After a 6 hour drive, my mom called to tell me she lost my apartment key. It will cost $25 every time they unlock the door for her. FML.

Today, it's been a week since I realized how much work the tongue actually does during eating. It pushes food around the mouth to my teeth like a little slug. I've been so conscious of it, I haven't enjoyed eating since. FML

She was horrified by the idea of underwear specifically designed to be bled into, as opposed to all the accidental bleeding into underwear not designed for it that happens every time I try to sleep on my period. Today, my college did a fire drill, and instructions were given by intercom in English and Spanish. The guy beside me mused, "If they say it in English and Mexican, why not say it in Black too?" That guy is my idiot brother, and he was dead serious. Sometimes I think our parents are related. FML
