Today, I was walking with my girlfriend when she began skipping ahead of me and out in to the street. I saw a car coming right at her so I tackled her to the ground to save her. Turns out the car was stopping and was never going to hit her, and my girlfriend doesn't appreciate concussions. FML

Today, I went to a concert with my girlfriend. Some guy grabbed her ass, and I tried to fight him. I ended up with a concussion and a messed up jaw. Her? Oh, she beat the shit out of him while I was unconscious. FML

Today, I was walking on a busy street. I saw this beautiful blonde walking across the street and a car was coming. I wanted to be like in the movies where the guy pushes the girl out of the way so she doesn't get hit. I accidentally pushed her the wrong way. Right into the car. FML

Today, I was walking out of the grocery store and out of no where, a car backing up pretty fast speeds downs the parking lot and hits me, causing me to fall down and drop all of the groceries. The woman jumped out of her car, not to help me, but to carefully check her bumper for scratches. FML

Today, I tried to propose to my girlfriend, but I was so nervous that I had a panic attack, fainted and split my head open. My girlfriend then fainted at the sight of the blood. An onlooker had to call an ambulance for both of us. FML

Today, I was driving when a woman started crossing the street against the light at the upcoming intersection, so I slammed on the brakes and stopped short of hitting her. That's when she intentionally jumped onto my car and started screaming that I had "mowed her down". The cops believed her. FML

How exactly is tackling someone to the ground going to save them from being hit by a car? If anything it would make a person easier to run over? Unless you tackled her to the sidewalk, in which case you would have to have been in the path of the car too... Sorry but i don't understand? ??

haha dont even worry that much. two of my best friends have given me concussions before, and they were completely forgiven five minutes later. if you and your girlfriend are really meant to be, she'll forgive you too. just... try not to do that again. hope its not a major concussion! :)

Anyone over the age of ten 'skipping' out into the street without looking kinda deserves to be hit for pure stupidity and carelessness. Just sayin'. But YDI for trying to be superman and picking someone without common sense.
