In times like these, I call up the advice of one of my youth leaders of old: Don't let assholes rent space in your head. How old were these girls? Because schoolgirls can get REALLY immature when putting others down (to be fair, so can boys). Don't take it personally, they're just looking for a way to boost their own low self-esteem

Kids at young ages do that at times. Its how they try to fit in.

Yeah, here's a great time to break out the "You're adopted."

"Your adopted, no one loves you, and your mom should have used plan C" Thats the line I would tell my kids =P

Don't even let that phase you, (phase?faze?) anyways, keep doing your thing, they mean nothing to you in the long run.

They may say kids are always the most honest people, but that isn't always true.
