Today, I was really badly sunburnt, so I put on some after-sun. The only type we have has glitter in it, and now I look like a sparkling tomato. FML

I don't understand though, if you planned on tanning, then why don't you check whether you have and what kind of after sun lotion before going? I mean I would want to be prepare before going out and bake under the sun so I don't end up like a sparking tomato.

You don't have to go vanity tanning to get sunburn... My guess is OP is pale and was doing one of the other millions of things that can be done outside. Crazy, I know.
