Today, I was in a rush, so I was removing my nail polish while using the toilet. Everything was going fine, until I used the toilet paper in my hand to wipe. It was covered in nail polish remover. It still burns. FML

from what I've experienced, nail polish removers don't generally harm until exposed to internal skin.. it rather feels cold, like a deo..

Acetone is harmful. Even gloves offer no protection from the compound as it goes through the nitrile. It may feel cold and harmless, but you don't know what it's doing to your body in the long run. I've been on contact with it daily for years. It's not fun knowing the potential dangers while still having to use the solvent.
