Today, I was giving a presentation to my college class. I've had a natural stutter my whole life, so I stuttered through the whole thing. My professor tried to hold in her laughter for 15 minutes. FML

Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML

Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. Today, I had a job interview. I have a speech impediment and as much as I tried to keep it under control, it came out during the interview. I could tell the interviewers were trying to hold in their laughter. They ended the interview after 5 agonizing minutes, saying they’ll contact me. I left in tears. FML

I've had a natural stutter too OP, the best way to overcome it is to be confident in your talking and thinking about what you are going to say next carefully. If you have a sentence in your mind already it makes it much easier that's how I've overcome most of stuttering. Nice and slow is the order, try and make your own flow.

#48 -yes! OP, try singing your presentation when you're practicing for it. Singing and whispering words instead of simply speaking them help stutterers to stutter less.

Hey, you did make it through though. If your teacher is that immature about the way you talk then they do not have maturity to be teaching. Best wishes on future speeches op.
