Today, I was delivering packages to patients in the hospital for my job. My boss gave me a room to deliver to, and I drop it off as usual. But my boss gave me the wrong room number. I had to walk in, apologize, and take back balloons and a stuffed animal from a crying 6-year-old patient. FML

I love the carelessness of the managers that tell the workers what to do, then when they make a mistake, it's the workers that have to make up for it. Not the moron that gave you the wrong information. FYL indeed.

she didn't, the boss corrected himself/herself and made her go back and give it to the right room.

#3. wtf? honestly, if you're in the hospital its clear that the world doesnt revolve around you. but obviously a nice gesture (in this case the bear) would be a nice gift, knowing this from the fact i have a 6 year old sister and when she was in the hospital for her tonsils the same thing happened to her :S

#2 and #3 if you were 6 and in a hospital wouldn't you be sad if you got ballons and a stuffed animal and then had them taken away from you? The kids in a hospital and has probably gone through enough.

Well done, you passed the test. You now have no soul. (:

I would have given the items to the child, and go explain to the other patient what happened. Hopefully it would be someone that would understand the situation. Then bitch a your boss.

#3 I think if I was 6 years old I would go with the balloons and the stuffed animal. At least you can keep those.
