Today, I was alone with a work acquaintance at lunch. A noise came from his pocket; he whipped out his iPod Touch and said "Sorry, I have to take this," before walking away with the iPod to his ear. Not only did he not want to talk to me, he thought I was stupid enough to confuse an iPod with a phone. FML

Today, my "friend" came over. I caught him trying to steal my iPod on the way out. Proud of myself for catching him, I asked him to leave, only to realize that I had forgotten to actually take the iPod back from him before he left. FML

Today, my crush was walking up to me and I put my earphones in, playing hard to get. When I heard him say something about a date I take an earphone out and say, "Oh, I didn't see you there!" His response, "They're not connected to anything," holds up the end of my earphones and walks away. FML

Today, I told a customer at the drive-thru I couldn't hear him as he had his music blaring too loud. The customer then drove to the window and verbally abused me for listening to my iPod at work. My "iPod" is the headset we use to take orders at the drive-thru. FML

Today, I was going to the bathroom at work. Since I knew it would take a while, I brought my iPod in for entertainment. To bad it disabled me from hearing the continuous knocks on the door as well as the manager eventually picking the lock and busting in. FML

Today, I was sitting on the train when some crazy man started talking to me. I ignored him, and he tapped on my shoulder. He started blabbing and I just pointed to my ears and mouthed, "I'm deaf." He stopped talking. A minute later my phone rang and I answered it without thinking. FML

Sorry, but I agree with #5. You can't be certain it wasn't an iPhone. An iPod Touch and an iPhone look almost exactly alike and you can't tell them apart if they're in a case... but since you act like a douche, you are probably right, he just wanted to get away from you. I would too.

Do some research. It's very easy to tell if it's an iPod Touch or iPhone because of the speaker above the screen and it's not covered in any cases except the otterbox. And the Touch is much thinner than the iPhone and doesn't have a circle for the camera. It sounds like the guy was just using Fake-A-Call

Clearly OP isn't familiar enough with the subtle differences between an iPod Touch and an iPhone to realise this fact. Just because you spend your time scrutinising gadgets, doesn't mean the rest of us do. Still, OP is a moron for not realising that it was most likely an iPhone.

God, you need a microphone to talk through an Ipod Touch. Also, iphone has the phone comms on it, touch doesn't.

The newer iTouch has microphone, and you can get that app that uses WiFi to use it like a phone, or u can use it through skype...my friend has it and I call her on it lots

Its really NOT that hard to tell the difference between the two . an iPod Touch has a silver/mirrory back to it , and an iPhone is either black , white , or gray . But , if you get a mic for your iPod Touch , it can be used as a phone . And an iPhone doesn't have speaker plugs or an usb plug in it . OP : FHL for thinking your stupid enough not to tell the difference .
