Today, I thought I'd be safe by looking before crossing a one way street unlike I normally do. Too bad I looked the wrong way and didn't see the car that hit me. FML

YDI -- yeah... that's just survival of the fittest, those of us who look BOTH ways before crossing the street, just in case ;)... fail...

Thanks, #13. Now I have to go take even more pain meds. Just when I was getting over a headache from earlier. OP: YDI. You're supposed to look BEFORE crossing, not when you're already in the middle of the street.

Is it sad that I actually understood what that kid said up there?

Yeah, and even five year olds know English.

You never look before crossing the road until now? And you looked the wrong way in a one-way street? And you didn't look both ways before crossing the stre? YDI.

i think this is idiotic. if you can still type a pathetic fml i don't think you got hurt that bad. suck it up. life goes on

Unless I'm reading this wrong, you're saying you normally DON'T look at all before crossing the street? If that's the case people like you need to be run over more often. It's people like this that make me think pedestrians should have to licensed just like drivers.

ok, i can imagine how you must have felt, because i was in a similar situation. luckily, my friend grabbed me before a speeding motorist had the chance to hit me--and run! the similarity stops, however, in the fact that i looked the wrong way because i was in Malaysia, where the cars drive on the opposite side of the road from America. mine was a cultural mistake; yours was an idiotic one.
