OP here. For clarity's sake, this actually happened to me several years ago, on the first day of my summer break. I had to spend the rest of break, as well as my birthday in a cast.

Glad to hear this wasn't recent and that you've healed up! It's okay, one time I was leaning on the toilet and the hinges came loose and I busted my face on the bath tub. Happens to the best of us.

Shit, one lost summer is small potatoes. How is your knee doing? Did you fully recover? I tore my meniscus falling down some stairs and the shit still hurts 3 years later.
