Today, I set up two of my friends on a date, and they asked me to tag along so their mom's don't get suspicious. My guy friend brought his new boyfriend and my girl friend showed up 20 minutes late wearing pajamas. So much for being a matchmaker. FML

Just roll with it. The guy obviously had some luck getting himself set up and the girl sounds a bit like she wasn't too thrilled with it. Plus, some people get extremely contrary when someone tries to "match" them, for the sake of feeling more in control of their lives. Or, it was just a clusterfuck of an attempt, wait and get a bit more a a read before trying to match one of them up again.

Plus, some people get extremely contrary when someone tries to "match" them, for the sake of feeling more in control of their lives. Or, it was just a clusterfuck of an attempt, wait and get a bit more a a read before trying to match one of them up again.

Today, I got my report card, and thought I did pretty well with a GPA of 3.58. My parents freaked out over the 3 B's I had, and proceeded to look up which colleges would still accept me. I just finished my first quarter as a freshman in high school. FML

Today, I told my husband that I missed how exciting it was when we were dating, so he pretended to sneak into my room through the window, we had sex, then fell asleep. All very exciting. Then the bastard actually snuck out while I was still asleep, and didn’t call me all day. FML

Today, I had to drive my grandmother to the emergency room. I periodically tried to call my parents but neither of them picked up, even when I called the house. We sat there for 6 hours and still no one took her to a room, and no response. Mom finally called back, only to tell me to get her a pack of cigarettes. FML
