Today, I sat in my hotel room bathroom in dead silence for 30 minutes while I waited for the cleaning staff to stop watching TV and drinking beer from the minibar, so that I could finish using the toilet. FML

Today, I had no choice but to use a public bathroom. I have issues going when there are others in the stalls, and apparently another person did as well. We both sat there in silence, waiting stubbornly for the other to give up and leave so we could go. It’s been 20 minutes. FML

Today, I still have my ridiculous fear of being heard on the toilet, and I can't go if people are around. I'd just sat down on the toilet when three of my housemates started chatting immediately outside the door. I had to sit silently until they were gone. For half an hour. FML

Today, after being constipated a few days, I used the restroom at a bar. It took a loooong time before I got out. As I went to exit the bar, only the employees were still there, waiting for me because they had closed 30 minutes ago. FML

Today, I really had to go to the bathroom. Due to my fear of public restrooms, I made sure it was clear before I started. I heard someone sigh halfway through. Embarrassed, I waited a full ten minutes before leaving the stall, only to see that it was only the automatic air freshener. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I wanted to kayak. On the way, I told him I had to go back to our hotel because I needed the bathroom and didn't want a public one to smell. Once back in the elevator at the hotel, it got stuck. For an hour. I pooped myself and had to wait 40 minutes after that for help. FML

If you could've held it and pulled up your pants, you should've jumped out and yelled, "Surprise!! Now GET OUT!" Then immediately reported them. If you're one of those people who takes their phones to the bathroom, you could've recorded them or even called the front desk to immediately come check out a serious issue/emergency with your room.

Most hotels/motels have a "do not disturb" sign for their rooms to let housekeeping know not to give service to your room until after you check out. Did you remember to put it outside your door?

kinda missed the point there. I think it's more the fact that they are goofing off and using the mini bar which OP will most likely have to pay for. I hope you called the front desk OP, and told them about it so you don't get charged for all of it.

That isnt THE point, #27. It is one. If you are going ro shower/shit/shave/nap/sleep put that sign up. These maids get $8 an hour to clean shit stains out of toilets, scrub vomit, clean cum-stained bed sheets and worse. They arent justified in stealing but they sure as shit are for barging in if that sign wasnt up.
