Today, I realized my wedding ring was missing. Turns out, my son had taken it to give to a girl he likes in the second grade. FML

#7: When you are a parent and you keep your kids on a short leash and they become bank robbers, get back to us because I'd hate to be your kids. #1 & 9: People do still take showers, and baths oh and don't forget not everyone has a dishwasher[I know shocker!] OP that sucks, your kid is bad:) NOW you should tell him it is wrong to steal, and punish him for a couple days so he understands it.

he has enough money to have kids and have a ring for his wife (probably). so that means -no showers -dishwasher -contradiction or everything you said

Ok what if she's a nurse? Went to work an the kid found it in the jewelry box. Definitely not her fault.

He doesn't realize how screwed he is when he gets married.

yeah. take his ring when he gets married.

I would kill you kid if he was mine but good thing I don't want those things running around my house

You would kill your 2nd grader for giving a wedding ring away? A tiny bit extreme, I think..

Cute? Yes. Acceptable? Absolutely not. But don't worry. You will get it back. Even so, it sucks.

i can't believe you didn't notice it missing! and second grade is old enough to understand that he shouldn't do that but years from now, it will be a nice story to tell his new girlfriends ;) because that is really cute
