Don't give up. keep trying. Look into different scholarships and loans.
I guess your dream college will be only that my good friend....
I feel your pain OP. 2 years ago I was in the same situation thanks to identity theft, but now I can honestly say sometimes its a good thing to have plans wrecked. I'm getting away from my first two years with no student debt and the love of my life by my side, neither of which would have happened had I gone to my dream school immediately. Keep your head up OP, things happen for a reason.
you've tried student finance? they will give you a loan if it's your first degree, Iv just switched what uni I'm doing mine with and which student finance branch I'm applying to (Wales instead of England) as it reduces the size of my loan but is all the same company and added an extra 2 years to my study and they're still funding me
Just do it and declare bankruptcy when you're finished yolo
I have to prove I can pay before I can get a visa.
I've had that happen, and it really sucks.

College students in the United States feel your pain all too often and our condolences are with you
If you're applying to go to a uk uni surely you don't need a loan or a scholarship; just use student finance? ?
