Today, I found out that my dad has been having an affair. With my formerly favorite teacher. The best part? Yesterday, she announced to the class that she was pregnant. I clapped and congratulated her. FML

Today, I discovered that my father is getting married. Overjoyed and confused because I didn't know he was dating, I called him up to congratulate him, and ask who she was. Apparently, his soon to be fiancée is my mother-in-law. My wife is not happy. FML

You probably could get her fired for that since the school won't want to look bad by condoning a teacher having an affair with a student's father. At the very worst, the pretty much have to let you have a different teacher if another one is available because of the conflict of interest.

Schools never fire teachers. It's such a pain in the ass. If it even becomes an issue, the school could say, "She didn't know it was a student's father," and avoid having to deal with all the paperwork of firing her and hiring a new one. No one would hold it against them, believe me. FYL, OP. Definitely switch classes.
