Today, I finally had the confidence to show my girlfriend my hairy chest/stomach. I'm very self conscious about it, and get embarrassed easily. She said I looked disgusting, called me Chewbacca and broke up with me on the spot. FML

If you're self-conscious about it, there are plenty of ways to get rid of hair you don't want. Doesn't excuse your ex's bitchy superficiality, but you don't have to have it if you yourself don't like it.

#108 - shave, clipper, electrolysis, depilatory cream, those machines that pull the hair out by the roots, tweezers, chemotherapy, starting a BBQ with lighter fluid... There's a ton of ways to get rid of unwanted body hair - pretty much every one of us removes hair in some way or another, practically every day. If the OP doesn't want to deal with it, then they shouldn't whine. If they DO see it as being a problem, there's a huge range of ways to sort it out.

agree with 1, she was no good. since it bugs you too, you could use clippers on a short setting instead of shaving it will remove most of the hairy look.
