Today, I finally finished paying off the £4k of debt my ex left me in when he gallivanted off to start his new life with the girl he'd been cheating on me with. Today is also the day my tv fell off the wall and my oven stopped turning on. A successful 6 hours of financial stability. FML

At least you are going to be better off without him. Just think, after those two repairs you will be financially stable on your own. That is big now a days with jobs not paying enough to live on your own, even with a Bachelor's.

The oven needs to be repaired/replaced soon, because you need to be able to prepare food. The TV you can do without for a couple of months, if need be, until you can actually afford one. You are still financial stable, you managed to pay off debt, you can save up for appliances too.

Hopefully the tv wasnt too expensive and you coukd replace it for a couple hundred bucks. On the other hand I think you can live without an oven or depend on a microwave oven for the time being until you can muster all you can get for a new one. Also fyl for having a cheating bf
