Go to your local drug store. Your biggest pain is from the raw open wound to the nerves. Buy the gummy filler stuff and put that into the hole in your tooth - It’s not a prescription. Once you do that the pain will decrease.

Next step take about 1/4 shot of whiskey, brandy, whatever straight. Hold it in your mouth on the sore area for a few minutes then swallow it. That helps a lot too - even without getting drunk.

OP I have been there and these things help a lot.

Depending on where op lives, er may be better if it’s a ton of pain. The urgent cares here can’t prescribe anything stronger than like prescription Motrin. But we also have a dentist office that is open on weekends and holidays for emergencies.

Is this what you do for a living? Making shitty comments on every FML that gets put out. Please stop it. It's not humorous, nor do I enjoy seeing your name plastered everywhere. It's getting old. Now run along little boy.

Go to the hospital ER. Call first to see if they have a dentist on call. My daughter’s tooth ended up needing a root canal and the pain started Friday night (of course). The dentist at the hospital was able to give her a pain block that lasted until she could have the procedure on Tuesday.

My personal dentist doesn't work Tuesdays, Fridays Sundays and every other Saturday. But its ONE of probably 20 in my town! Emergency dental places do exist!
