Today, I bit into a piece of homegrown lettuce from my garden. Apparently, I'm not the only one to enjoy my produce, because I took a bite out of a small caterpillar. FML

Every good salad needs a bit of protein ;)

well at least it was a unique experience, and you should wash your veggies before you consume them next time, OP!

Gotta give you a YDI on this one OP, this was totally your fault. I grew up with a family garden and now have one of my own for my wife and kids. The first rule to follow is to wash and inspect each vegetable as soon as you bring it in from the garden. If you don't, you won't just be eating a bug or two, you'll be living with them.

I guess you could say that's a CATAPIL-TASTROPHE... No? Ok :(

I give you a thumbs up for trying. :P

Probably like biting into a gushers too. Made me cringe.

Just wash it in salted water and you'll be without that extra protein next time! (;

Caterpillars can be poisonous just saying

It's called washing your veggies and fruits before you eat them.
