Today, I asked my fiancé to put a wet washcloth in the dryer (to dewrinkle the clothes) 20 minutes later went to the dryer to find all the clothes piled on top of it and a lone washcloth inside.

Yes. A wet washcloth put in the dryer with clothes will de-wrinkle them. However, man brain is real. Sometimes you really have to be literal with them.

Well, someone takes instructions literally. Might want to make sure you keep in mind that he needs clear instructions for when doing something out of the usual- and that you can tolerate being to explanatory without blowing up. Also, instead of a washcloth, you can just take one of the items in the dryer, wet it, and toss it back in. Same effect, no need for a cloth to be involved.
