Today, I am 45. I am so often mistaken for my 24 year old daughter, and her for me, that she has begun to loathe my existence. She refuses to talk to me, and her 3 kids call me by my first name. FML

So, basically she's pissed over something you can't control, and also because you aged well. Not to mention, based on your ages, you had her fairly young too, at 21, so you're always going to look on the younger side with her. My mom had me at 19, and we're sometimes mistaken for sisters because our ages are closer than the average. She might even go through this too, since she's 24 and has 3 kids, she had them on the younger side and could experience this in the future as well. She's overreacting, in a way, she should be happy, she'll probably inherit your good genetics.

She should be thankful that she's aging like fine wine, where as I'm aging milk.

This is stupid. My mother is in her sixties & still gets carded trying to buy alcohol. Good genes is not a reason to be pissy.

She clearly resents you for something. Maybe a counselor or therapist can help. It would be worth keeping your family in your life since it sounds like she's trying to cut ties.
