Today, for Christmas I got dumped and was refused by my ex wife to have my kids. And I have already run out of beer, here's to four years in a row of Christmas alone. FML

This should not just be an almost-FML. I feel for you. No one should be denied the right to see their kids on Christmas

I don't like judging these ones because sometimes there's more to the story and the ex-wife's side could be justified. In my case, if you took my bio dad's side of the story, my mom was a vindictive bitch that tried to take his child away from him. But the truth is, he was an alcoholic, drug addict, couldn't hold down a job, drove drunk with me in the car, and during their break up, threatened my mom on several occasions so much so she had to get a restraining order. He still got partial custody of me. He never hurt or threatened me in anyway, but he didn't deserve shared equal custody, he was too unstable. My mom deserved the majority and to make the call of when he could see me. I also see just from glancing at this FML that 420 was mentioned, so possibly illegal drugs (Arkansas weed isn't legal yet). And excessive drinking, which could just be because of the circumstances, but still, not a good thing to do. Both aren't great to do or have when there's children involved and you want them in your life.

No one?! I envy your sheltered life.

Arkansas is a mother state and I've had this surname since I was 15. I was not even the reason they were taken away. I was 600 miles from home working. They were against me every step, even though I had been completely honest and clean and compliant on their case plan. They returned my children to the mother who is more than questionable.
