Today, at the park, my best friend exclaimed that she couldn't walk around or do anything with me because she "hurt" her foot. I've been with her for the past couple of days, so I know this is false. She still expects me to invite her to the beach tomorrow. FML

Don't invite her, than tell her it's because you didn't want her to hurt her foot again.

As someone who has joints and bones that dislocate at random- including the bones of my feet- it's not completely impossible that she was having an issue that made it painful for just that day. Depending on what she generally does at the beach, swimming or sitting in the beach could be way more probable than walking around a park. That said, you aren't obligated to invite her anywhere- but it might be a good idea to ask what is wrong with her foot, if only so you can start noting if she is developing a pattern of this kind of deception, if it is one.

If she hurt her foot she should be home with it up, icing it and keeping weight off it. Don't invite her...

Depending on what she was wearing and where you had been walking it's quite plausible that she is telling you the truth, however tomorrow is another day.
