Today, as I was cooking dinner, I had the intense need to shit. As I was on the toilet, my pot overflowed onto the stovetop, causing the smoke detectors to go off and alert 911. I had to answer the door, pants less and still shitting myself, to explain to the (really hot) firemen what happened. FML

Fake. I suppose some fancy house alarms have some degree of fire monitoring but regular smoke alarms don't "alert 911", and no fire department responds THAT quickly. And yes, if it was something that could both boil over AND catch on fire you should've at least lowered the heat before leaving it.

Fake. I suppose some fancy house alarms have some degree of fire monitoring but regular smoke alarms don't "alert 911", and no fire department responds THAT quickly. And yes, if it was something that could both boil over AND catch on fire you should've at least lowered the heat before leaving it.

Today, I spent my first night at my boyfriend's place, and my first night sleeping beside him. I woke up in the early hours to him holding me and muttering in his sleep something like "surprise fisting". I'm beyond terrified. FML

Today, I took my truck through an automatic car wash. During the wash, the bristles on one of the automatic scrubbers ripped my metal antenna off of my car. The antenna was stuck spinning around in the scrubber, smacking and scratching the entire side of my car, top to bottom. FML
