Today, after working for Uber for a few weeks I realized that my driver rating was dropping. After looking into it, one of the 1-star ratings claimed "mechanical problems". The description of the reason, "He drives a Ford." FML

I feel you OP, and I've received similar complaints. Why do people take an issue with my Radio Flyer brand vehicle?! I'm a great puller and make REALLY good engine noises!

Pretty sure you can dispute the review with Uber. They usually take troll reviews seriously and will remove it. May also put strike on the other persons account!

You might be able to appeal to have the review removed if you can provide proof that you haven't had mechanical problems while working.

Sorry, this is fake. Ive been w/ Uber for four years and you can see what your rating is but they only show a few selected 5-star comments. The uber office picks one a month. So the claim he saw the text for his 1-star review is not possible.

Actually comments are shown for marked problems. If someone rates you badly and list a specific issue it shows you why.

To be honest, I have n almost no bias towards cars and I like most cars so why is it that people take a great, perfectly drive able car and talk crap about it. And not to be cruel towards the people that live in the country or are farmers, but it's mostly you guys that have the most bias

Just because you drive one brand doesn't mean you have to hate on the others. Even if there is a perceived feud between ford fans and Chevy lovers. I swing more towards ford, but I'll be damned if I miss the opportunity to double take on a sweet Camaro just because I drive a competitors vehicle.
