Today, after receiving a compliment, I intended to either reply "No, I'm just ordinary" or "You are so sweet". Eventually, I mixed them up to answer "No, YOU are just ordinary". FML

Usually, I simply reply "Thank you very much!" There's no reason to put yourself down. Also, you're disparaging the commenter's judgement.

Today, the final for a class I'm in is taught by a decrepit old man who apparently has a flunk-out reputation. He spent the entire previous class making a study guide for the final exam, emphasizing, "THIS is on the exam. Know THIS." I studied it hard. Absolutely none of it was on the exam. Everyone failed. Today, I took a girl on a date. This girl is tiny, about 4 ft 10 and petite. She ordered a 16 inch pizza, garlic bread, wings, fries, and multiple drinks, and damn if she didn’t eat every bite of it, it was impressive. Until we were screwing later and she vomited the whole meal down my chest. FML

That wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact he's in the military, knows our address, and apparently is threatening to kill himself if she doesn't take him back.
