Today, after pulling an all-nighter studying for an exam, I caught the bus to college. On the way there, the bus decided to make sweet love to a taxi, creating a pile-up and a traffic jam. I didn't make it to the exam in time. FML

Surely that is excuse enough to be given a second chance...

Professors usually are understanding when things like that happen and let you have other exams count for double

I think you mean BUSted. Although it's not relevant here anyway.

Wow, sorry op.. That must be really frustrating. Like others said above couldn't you talk to the teacher?

I'm tempted to put YDI because of your username.

I'm tempted to give you a thumbs down because your comment was idiotic. Oh wait. I did.

I'm really sorry, but that's the best description of a car crash I've ever seen.

And that's why you should prepare for exams throughout the year not at the last moment. .

That's not the point. OP's study time has nothing to do with the reckless actions of the bus driver. I hope they get a second chance

I study through out the year and I still pull all nighters. The extra studying doesn't hurt.

Let me guess: your professor didn't accept that as assn excuse, right?

This seems like something the professor would be happy to give an extension for. If not, I'd go right to administration and appeal it.

I love the description of what happened: the bus decided to make sweet love to a taxi. XD

Why are there 140 YDI's it's not the OP's fault that the bus was caught in a traffic jam

For some reason there's usually a Max of 15 FML's per YDI.
