Today, after finally going to therapy for anxiety like everyone wanted, I discovered the itching feeling that kept me awake at night was actually caused by a bedbug infestation. FML

They always said, "Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite." You let the bedbugs bite!!! How disappointed your family must be that you didn't obey that simple instruction.

Occam's razor should have been applied

nothing beats cleaning your sheets

it's not really a matter of cleaning your sheets. if you don't get rid of the eggs, they'll hatch and reinfest everything. never mind that their eggs can get stuck in vacuum filters and spread around the house. a living nightmare

Nothing beats burning your sheets?

I had bed bugs a couple months ago. no infestation, just some. took a month to realize they were hiding between my bed frame and box spring. I looked like something out of a horror movie.

If you didn't already take care of the problem. Diatomaceous Earth works great against them. And some say that rubbing alcohol works too. You should also buy a heater that will get up to at least 150°F and bake your room for 6 hours.

bedbugs caused my already bad anxiety to get ten times worse. we were stuck living with them for three years. sesame seeds make me real paranoid.
