Today, a state trooper ticketed me after learning I was ticketed for the same offense an hour earlier, namely driving with a broken headlight. The good news is that both tickets will be dismissed if I go to court. The bad news is that I'd have to go to different courthouses at the same time of day. FML

Maybe you should talk to the judges beforehand to clear up the dilemma.

Call the court house, if you explain that both court dates conflict, they can reschedule it

Don't mace the guy trying to inform you of your light being out.

Well that's i'mpossible... nobody can be in two places at once............. or can you? ;) No, no you can't haha.

I could understand one of then being dismissed. The way it reads makes it seem he was going to let you off with a warning but then found out you already received a ticket then proceeded to write you another one. If so, FYL.

Call the Clerk of Courts and reschedule one of the appointments. Then, fix that headlight and stay off that stretch of road!

Here's how to do it: on the programmed date, drive to whichever of the court has a clock tower next to it. As you come near your destination, accelerate your car's speed till you reach 88 miles per hour. Make sure you do have a few empty soda cans at hand and check the weather conditions, though. The bad news is, you're sure to get an extra ticket for speeding. The good news is, you will also be able to have it dismissed in courthouse number 3. Doc

What if both courts don't have a clock tower?

got two court dates at the same dam time( future voice )

I've heard of this happening before here in NC. It's totally unfair.
