Today, a man tried to rob the winery I worked at by knife-point. I managed to scare him off by throwing a bottle of wine at him. My boss fired me because I broke a $25 bottle of wine. FML

it was either that $25 bottle of wine or all the money in the cash register, which is most likely a lot more than that. It's too bad your boss is a total knucklehead that lacks common sense. if anything, he could have at least tried to make you pay for that wine bottle before firing you.

Rob the store when only he's in, but 1. wear a mask, 2. make sure he doesnt have a weapon 3. wear protection, in case he throws a bottle at you.
