Today, a girl on my Snapchat list posted a story asking for anybody who was awake to talk to her. Me being awake, I took her up on the request. Her response? "Sorry I didn't mean you." FML

Well now you see why she has to post a story pretty much begging people to talk to her...she's gonna be one lonely person if she keeps treating people like she did you. You're probably better than her OP

I do that all the time. I usually want a specific person to text/call me and dont want to make it direct. And sometimes I really am open to anyone texting me

That message was probably only aimed at 1-2 people, but written like that to not seem needy or clingy or what have you.
