Welcome to the life of dealing with the idiotic public
Omg I would have been like you're banned! Never come back never never never never unless never ends
Plot twist: the cashier is Laina.
As a super smiley cashier, now I'm wondering if I'm the person that customer complained about. :-P
I'm a cashier and have had my supervisor tell me the same thing. Yet, when I'm in an off mood, I get reprimanded for not being friendly enough.
In today's society it seems like happiness is a crime. It doesnt always have to be so serious. I watch people walk around looking furious ironically unaware of what their fury is. Guess they're trying to mask the pain, and what it really is.
He's probably been smiling so much because the dude complains too much.

I hope you told them some customers complain too much.
I don't like when employees are happy at work, can you fix that?
