This Guy Tricked The Cops Into Ticketing A Car Made Of Snow And The Note They Left Speaks For All Of Us
We’ve been harping on the cold weather a lot lately, so we apologize if you live somewhere warm and beautiful all year round and couldn't care less about snow or the FMLs that come along with it. That’s fine. Also, we’re cold and we hate you. That sorted, we strongly believe that you don’t have to live where it snows to appreciate this story.
33-year-old Simon Laprise of Montreal decided to make the most of the snowy weather and prank the snow removers. Using his skills as a machinist and woodworker, he crafted a full-size rendering of a car in the middle of his street.
Not just any car, the Delorean from Back To The Future. He told Buzzfeed, “I did the car to have fun expressing my creativity on that beautiful day.”
But before the snow removers came, he caught the attention of someone else: the Montreal police. After all, it’s illegal to park cars in the street during snow removal.
A local captured the moment the cops stopped to inspect the car only to realize it was made entirely of snow. But even without plates, they gave the car a ticket…
“You made our night!!!”
We only wonder if the snow removers had the same sense of humor as the cops. Put yourself in their shoes. If you saw a Delorean in the street, even one made of snow, would you have the heart to plow it?
