OP here, yes of course i broke up with her over it, which she still thinks I'm over reacting to. I ended up calling for more pain pills but they wouldn't approve me any more that fast. I ended up just dealing with the pain on my own while being bitched out for being selfish.

I'd be charging her, filing a police report and saying its no big deal.

I'm sorry OP that sucks. and that sounds like drug addict behaviour on her part. I would be wary and steer clear. I known things aren't always that simple but they should be.

Doctors, pharmacists, and insurance can make exceptions on early fills when you lose medication or it gets stolen, even for controlled pain pills. It’s a frustrating process and it may take time, which sucks when you’re in pain, but it can be fixed, hopefully sooner rather than later.
In Arkansas i've never had a problem (over the YEARS ) refilling ANY of my meds (I have M.S., and even worse side effects), except my Adderall. UNTIL they changed schedules on pain meds.NOW as it has unfortunatly happened TOO MANY times to me as well as it seems people hear that I take uppers downers AND all arounders and the fact that I'm one of the nicest people you'll ever come across, play 14 instruments fluenly, and SO much MORE is forgotten. Pills, pills, Pills. And they DO NOT refill them ANYMORE. YOU just have to suffer through. I've lost SO many "friends" its turned someone SO positive, SO CYNICAL and JADED

thanks for updating. And so good for you for breaking up with her. That is addictive behaviour, who knows where it could have led. I'm curious, why would she say you are being selfish?
She really believes I wasn't in pain, and "we could have both been enjoying the pills"

The insurance probably wouldn’t pay for it... there is an override code that they can get me insurance company. They just didn’t want to do it. And if you fill it out of chain pharmacy you better bet your ass they will fight you on that.

I'm usually against saying "dump'em," but yeahhh...this isn't a minor issue that can be resolved through communication or just some unfortunate accident with a bad outcome. She stole from you to get high and doesn't think it's a big deal.
