Curvy Woman With 6 Pack Husband Responds To Troll With The Raw Truth

By Nadine / lundi 23 avril 2018 05:30
The underlying idea that people with weight on them are somehow unworthy of love is a cultural FML for anyone who's not super thin.

Instagrammer and Podcaster Jenna Kutcher is a body positive influencer and general badass. Jenna and her fitness freak/health coach husband have been married for 11 years living their best lives between Minnesota and Maui. Subsequently, the two have some pretty incredible photos.

But as is to be expected, with internet fame comes internet trolls. When one troll DM'd Jenna about her weight in comparison to her culturally ideally-fit hubby, Jenna decided to respond with the raw truth, rather than with defense.

"Someone once slid into my DMs and told me they couldn’t believe I had managed to land a guy as good looking as @kickingitwithkutch. I’ll be honest that I was taken aback."

"Part of my insecurity with my body has stemmed around being married to Mr. 6-Pack himself. Why should I, a curvy girl get him? I feel unworthy and when I write narratives in my head that because I am not thin, I don’t deserve him."

"This man has embraced every curve, every dimple, pound and pimple for the last ten years and has always me reminded me that I’m beautiful even when my inner dialogue doesn’t match."

"So yes, my thighs kiss, my arms are big, and my bum is bumpy but there is just more of me for him to love and I chose the man that could handle alllll that (and so much more!)"
"I am so much more than my body, so is he, and so are you."

I can almost guarantee that the person who "slid into her dms" was a female. Women cut each other down way more than men do. Just. Stop. It. Be better than that. Rise above that. Build up other women just as you would want your mom, daughter, sister, best friend, etc built up.

You might not be "supermodel skinny" but I personally think you look better than "supermodel skinny". You might get haters, but I bet they are only from jealous people who wish they could get him.

very moving, just because some of us aren't "skinny" does not mean we don't deserve love, you are only as beautiful as you are on the outside, so even if you fit in to societies standards of beauty, if you treat others poorly you are as ugly as your words

The moment I saw the pictures I was furious! She's not even big, she's absolutely gorgeous and people are being cruel saying she's too fat to have a fit husband?! What the hell is wrong with people???

Women are called curvy because their bodies actually curve. Men's bodies do not. Regardless, it is not okay to fat shame a man as it is not okay to shame a woman. However, with that being said, women are reminded a lot more when they are not stick thin or have perfectly fit bodies (it's in every advertisement, every TV show, cultural normalities, conversations from men AND women....)
